GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS

• Student will have to strictly observe all the rules and regulations of the institute, existing or to be amended from time to time, and breach of any one of these may render them liable for suspension or expulsion from the institute. Strict any undisciplined in the institute has to be observed.
• The Institute reserves the right to make any alteration in the rules and regulations, teaching schedule, timings, fees payable and any other matter relating to its functioning.
• Ragging in any form within or outside the institute and hostel is totally prohibited. A student and his/her parent/guardian are mandatory required to submit separate Anti-ragging undertaking (in the prescribed format) on the day of admission.
• Any any undisciplined or misbehavior in class or in Institute campus or in bus or even outside of the campus would warrant disciplinary action against the student.
• Any action of any individual, group or a wing which amounts to interference in the regular administration of the Institute, is prohibited. Disciplinary actions will be initiated against such student(s).
• Causing of dis figuration or damage to the property of institute or students or staff is strictly prohibited.
• Disobeying any instruction of any kind issued by the Principal/ Head of the Department / Faculty / Staff will be considered as in disciplinary action on the part of the student.
• Students must pay the tuition fee and other fees on or before the due date in full. The refundable security amount would only be returned after completion of the programme. All fees are paid by cash or demand draft drawn in favour of “Birsa Institute of Technology (Trust) – BITT Polytechnic”, payable at Ranchi.
• If any selected candidate withdraws or is dismissed from the programme for any reason whatsoever, his/her fees shall stand forfeited.
• After commencement of the programme, if a student withdraws from it then he/she will have to deposit the entire course fee before the issue of the Transfer Certificate and other certificate(s), as applicable.
• Any other rule(s) and regulation(s), not mentioned here in above, may be added or modified through notification henceforth.
• Student must have to submit original certificate & two set of Xerox copy of all documents stated above at the time of admission.
